Kim Shin-wook is a South Korean football player who has made a name for himself in China, playing for Shanghai Shenhua. He began his career with Daegu FC before moving to Japan to play for Shimizu S-Pulse.
In 2016, Kim joined Shanghai Shenhua and quickly established himself as one of the club's most important players. He played in all 34 matches during the 2017 season, helping the team win the Chinese Super League title and also earning him a place in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League squad.
However, after a disappointing performance in the AFC Champions League, Kim was released by Shanghai Shenhua and returned to Korea. He then signed for Jeju United, where he helped the team reach the semi-finals of the K-League.
Despite his success in Asia, Kim has struggled to make an impact in Europe, despite having played for several clubs including FK Austria Wien, Al Ahly SC, and AC Milan. He has yet to score a goal or register an assist in over a dozen appearances for each of these clubs.
While Kim's time at Shanghai Shenhua was short-lived, it was still a successful one. His performances on the pitch have earned him respect from fans and fellow players alike, and his passion for the game continues to inspire others.
